Duplicated the character render, smudged it a bit, then merged it to the background smudge and then finished smudging.

Duplicated the character render, smudged it a bit, then merged it to the background smudge and then finished smudging.
Ah, I figured it had to do something with smudging. Just didn't know if you were using a pre-made bg, or put those colors in yourself.

Ah, I figured it had to do something with smudging. Just didn't know if you were using a pre-made bg, or put those colors in yourself.
Oh well the red portion is black smudge with red smudge and some orange highlights. I thought you were talking about the portion that kinda borders the character.
