please can someone make a Sinister.ly Web Client - miso - 12-23-2019
Im really bad about making web clients or even just making a progress bar give a percentage of a download, anyway, i just want to give an idea of application that can be usefull to the Sinister community. What i mean by a web client is that Sinister should have the website and a seperate application that will allow the community to access the website more easily instead of accessing the website via a classic browser such as chrome or firefox.
The application could for example have:
- Live Notifications (meaning that if (for example) the user recieves a new alert, they would get notified instantly via the application, allowing the user to respond/see what is the notification about. (Like how chrome-based application does it with notification) Example of notification (taken from discord)
- Easier profile management (meaning that the user could edit their profile more easily via the application settings itself)
- Live status (?)
(i know im taking a lot of things of discord, but i think the application be the same type as discord, with dms integration (which is already present in sinister)
but i really think the application can have a really good impact on Sinister's community, allowing it to interact with each other more easily and allowing users to be more active on Sinister in general
However
just dont be a shitty dev that just learnt .NET (even though i am lmao), ill literally be the first one to get on it (use something more complex such as C++ or atleast the Electron framework even though it can easily be reverse engineered)
more seriously, the application should be really well protected because of it interacting with sinister, meaning that a vulnerability in the application can/will (most likely) also affect the website (by the making of bots or the duplication of NSP for example)
But sinister can also for example propose a bugbounty program, allowing sinister to fix vulnerabilities in the applciation (if created) and/or even the website itself, the user can be awarded for example with the gain of NSP and a Bugbounty badge for example)
im just saying what i think, but i really like that idea and i just wanted to share it because the community of sinister can be bringed even closer, for example as being like a family (lmao) which just help each other by posting thread after thread, leaks & crack after leaks & cracks etc...
anyway, thank you for reading and i'll try to respond to each and every comments i get under this thread, im really interested what the community or even the staff think about that idea
