veracrypt - sofbal3b - 12-09-2019 Hey all, need to download veracrypt from a safe source so I don't get any ride-alongs, then could use any pointers anyone has for installing without completely fucking everything up. New to some of this and not so new to most. Just get a little jittery b4 potentially fucking up some shit I am gonna need. Very much appreciate any help from one and all. Thanks in advance. You can download VeraCrypt from the official website, or the portable version via this reputable source. When you create the encrypted volume, be sure to apply an added layer of encryption, by using a full volume/disk encryption software on the "encrypted volume" Itself. As far as I'm aware the software is open source, so you can still view the source code. I remember debating the security flaw it supposedly had and whether VeraCrypt was worth the risk. |
