Help With Fitbit SE - nsfalpha - 10-28-2019 Hello! I just tried to SE a fitbit and I’ve been successful up to the point where they asked for my fitbit device before they can actually ship the replacement fitbit. I was wondering if I should make an excuse up such as not having enough time to ship the product back but I’m not sure if that will work. Any help is much appreciated. Here’s the script as to what they replied to me with. “Thanks for troubleshooting with us. We’re happy to provide a replacement for defective devices covered by our warranty. Before we can send the replacement, we need you to return the device to us. We’ll provide you with a prepaid shipping label. After we receive your package, we’ll send your replacement within 5 business days. Please note that Fitbit is not responsible for lost-in-transit packages that were shipped without a tracking number.” RE: Help With Fitbit SE - KarlBoma - 12-27-2019 It’s risky to SE Fitbit just saying. They might take legal action. RE: Help With Fitbit SE - Parliament - 12-27-2019 (12-27-2019, 07:39 PM)KarlBoma Wrote: It’s risky to SE Fitbit just saying. Quote:I was wondering if I should make an excuse up such as not having enough time to ship the product back but I’m not sure if that will workIt won't. What's the device In question, Inclusive of the weight and dimensions? Also, what reason did you give for loss of functionality during the troubleshooting process? RE: Help With Fitbit SE - copscalled - 12-28-2019 I'd chill out with fitbit, IMO the demand for resell is not the greatest. RE: Help With Fitbit SE - Formerx - 01-02-2020 Honestly this would be considered a fail in the Fitbit SE community. Try again with the same account. Your chances in succeeding are low, but it's worth the shot. I've done it before. The message you want to see is that they'll send you replacement offer to your email. At that point they don't request the old one back. RE: Help With Fitbit SE - mothered - 01-03-2020 The OP hasn't been active for almost 2 months, so don't expect a reply anytime soon. The company will not wait for months to settle a claim, hence If the OP responds, I'd say It's safe to assume that the SE Is complete- success or failure. RE: Help With Fitbit SE - GeniLoyd - 01-11-2020 Just tell them I'm not at the city, im on a vacation, it will be weeks untill ill be back. Or close case, then reopen it (hopefully ull get someone else) tell that guy i accidentally closed the case, when i was so close, tell him u already shipped the item back and they got it, eTCCC |
