Amazon Refund? - Parliament - 09-25-2019 Hey all, I've never attempted to refund anything so I want to see if I can refund something, I purchased a cheap pair of shoes which were meant to deliver in around a week according to amazon tracking but they came to early af and arrived today. My plan was to go for a standard DNA but that's basically fucked considering one of my family members signed for it and the courier took pictures apparently (family member said so, I don't have access to courier tracking because amazon doesn't give it). Signature would have my second name on it. So I'm hoping you guys could help me out here, am I basically screwed? I think I am but am to be open to ideas. Appreciate any sort of help, thanks in advance. RE: Amazon Refund? - mothered - 09-25-2019 You can opt for the wrong Item received method. Purchase a "stock" Item that's significantly cheaper and when they request the return, send that. Went on the seller's profile and they just sell shoes either costing more or the same as the shoes. As such, any Item that they hold In their Inventory. RE: Amazon Refund? - Parliament - 09-27-2019 (09-26-2019, 08:11 AM)mothered Wrote:Yep, just thought it would be amazon seller specific. This means that I can purchase a item and claim I received that instead of the item I was purchasing? I've already received the first item so wouldn't they say you've already received that item? Just confused.(09-25-2019, 11:07 PM)yaboiace Wrote:(09-25-2019, 09:01 PM)mothered Wrote: You can opt for the wrong Item received method.Stock item as in from the seller? This Is how the wrong Item received method works: * You purchase a stock Item from Amazon using a "different account" . * You've received the correct Item (that you ordered), and claim that they've shipped a different Item (the one that you purchased above). * They'll request the different Item be returned, and you do exactly that. * A refund/replacement will be Issued thereafter. Thanks. edit: While I received my shoes literally four days ago, it still says on Amazon that it'll arrive during the October 1 - October 10 on the tracking and says it's not delivered yet. Not sure if this info will help. Not sure if this info will help.Their tracking Info probably hasn't been updated (which It well and truly should have), so don't take that on board- particularly the fact that the package was already signed for. Quote:Do you know if there is any other methods/angles I could take here? Just something that'd be fasterHere's the equation: * DNA- Out of the question as stated above. * Boxing- The Item Is too big. * Wrong Item received- Your choice to opt out of It. * Faulty Item- The nature of the Item does not warrant this method. * Missing Item- Too heavy?? The only method left Is the "missing Item", which I believe the goods are too heavy. How much do the shoes weigh? Boxed-product Weight: 998 g Suppose that's way too high. |
