Your Computer Build. - Refusal - 08-22-2019

Im planning on building a $3,000 PC when I get back to the states. I already have a build in mind.

Who here on Sinister.ly has a nice computer build they would like to share with the community? I would like to see your builds, maybe I will draw inspiration for my own build <3

I do NOT have a good computer. It's alright for designing and playing small games though. I might get something along the lines of a GTX 1650, and maybe a Ryzen. If you want me to maybe make you a recommended build on pcpartpicker I can.

Yea 1650’s are really good budget cards. And yea I’ll take all suggestions man. I plan on doing heavy design and gaming on my build

Well not the greatest but it does it job to be honest.

Intel Xeon E3-1230 v5 (3,40 GHz)
Geforce GTX 1070 TI
16 GB Ram
4 TB HDD
512 GB SSD

I would consider that really good. The only thing holding you back is the Xeon. They're meant to be server processors.

Been using this build for awhile:

CPU: Intel Core i7 7700K
RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) Corsair Vengeance
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus IX Formula
GPU: Nvidia Titan Xp Collector's Edition

Might add another 32GB RAM.

I only have laptops- seven In total.

The most superior Is:

CPU: Core I7 7700HQ
Ram: 32GB (2x16GB)
GPU: GTX 1070
Res: 1920x1080
SSD boot (256GB), secondary HDD 2TB

This is a pretty decent build. Better than mine rn lol.

Buying a titan crossed my mind. But I just don’t do anything that would even peak that card.

Nice build tho. Another 32GB of ram could be useful in some scenarios, depending on what you do.

Damn 7 laptops.
I love laptops for The portability, but tbh I sold my gaming laptop and just got a MacBook Pro, I mainly use my laptop for web surfing, photoshop, and general use.

I couldent imagine owning 7 tho xD. I’m thinking about buying a Laptop just for a Linux setup since I’m into networking, it could prove useful.

Yes, I've spent over 15k In upgrading my entire systems and never looked back. The sheer power of running just about any tasks without Issues, Is an absolute pleasure.

In terms of your MacBook, I've heard they're excellent for GFX/designing. I've never owned one, but would love to at some point.
