British Hacker Targeting Porn Users Jailed For 6 Years - Drako - 08-18-2019
"A British blackmailer who used fake FBI notices to scam porn site visitors out of more than $5 million has been jailed."
"The BBC reported that investigators were able to pin down £700,000 ($916,135) of Qaiser's personal profits. However, in total, the 24-year-old's criminal network may have made in excess of £4 million."
Zain Qaiser began this scam when he was only 17. He purchased a ransomware named Angler from an unknown Russian source to use. He then purchased ad space on legal porn websites. When a person would click the link it would download Angler to their systems. Angler would then scan for vulnerabilities to use the ransomware.

Given the crimes he committed, I'm actually surprised he didn't get a longer sentence than 6 years.
