Made me laugh, it's a heat gun. I'd recommend you to buy a smaller one, it will become annoying to seal many items later on with a heavy heat gun.

Too bad you already bought such a large heat gun, I believe you can still cancel the order if they haven't packed it yet? As for the airpods trick, that should most certainly work. You just have to play your cards right. In case the item is on sale, it's something you could use to your advantage as well.

They might be but you can always claim you got them unsealed and that they're even fake, both of these go hand in hand.
