Quote:The new Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is out today, and sees the low-cost computer transformed into a far more capable machine.

Based around a new hardware platform, the new board packs in up to 4GB memory, USB 3.0, dual-screen 4K display support, and a faster and newer CPU and GPU.

Idk why but for me, the 4K support on it is mind-blowing. We are living in the future boys Smile

Being someone who used a RPI as a work laptop and some casual gaming for a few months while I wated on a proper x64 machine to show up, neat.

A faster CPU and more RAM is all I really care about as that means more stuff, nice to see some higher speed ports but eh nothing to go too crazy over past maybe having dual displays. 4K support has been doable on a 3B+ for a while, you can have OpenELEC push 4K@15Hz, so finally seeing it more supported along the lines of say the TinkerBoard or Libre Computer Potato which push a full 60Hz output is neat even though the only advantage I'd see is say reading schematics at full size off of it.

So yeah, the more usable as a little tiny desktop than it was the cooler, probably going to get a few of these when they pop out just for the heck of it.
