How can I get a partial refund from Booking.com? - duzap - 06-17-2019 I've seen people offering services to get a partial refund of around 50% - 70% from Booking.com , Hotels.com and some other websites as well. The thing is they are offering the service only if it's been 4 days BEFORE you are visiting the hotel. Do you have any ideas how it works? How can I do it by myself? What should I tell booking? RE: How can I get a partial refund from Booking.com? - Razerr - 06-17-2019 If it was clothing people could help. But i ain't got a clue about that. i mean i also saw these posts and 50-70% is a lot. Just use them once and maybe try to learn how they do it or something RE: How can I get a partial refund from Booking.com? - FreightTrain - 06-19-2019 I once read an unethical life hack related to this. The OP would bring a cockroach with them in a plastic bag in their bags. After the first night of their stay, they would walk down to the front desk, complain they found the bug in their room and continue to raise hell. They'd either end up with a huge discount/free stay, or they may be upgraded up a much nicer room (and try to get any extra perks along the way). If you wanted to try this, I'd book directly through the hotel though or else getting a refund is going to be much harder. Also someone I know has worked in a hotels for quite a while, she told me they generally just try to move you to another room. That's where your SE skills will come into play.
