You can't do many things outside of work with Macs. That's why some businesses use the Mac OS instead of something like Windows. If you're looking to actually be able to do stuff, just get a VM that runs on Mac, like VirtualBox.

This ^
If you require assistance with any VM (bridged connections, virtual adapters, mapping network drives, hardware virtualization etc), just let me know.

shame on you guys!! smh lol. @Lhg just because you have a mac doesn't mean anything bad or wrong. think of it this way, OS X is unix, just like Linux. If you can do it on Linux, then you can do it on OS X. get comfortable with command line. learn about WINE, HomeBrew, etc. You can 100 % do everything from your OS X with enough ingenuity.
