Crucial SSD SE? - unkn0wn123 - 06-12-2019 I'm looking to get a Crucial SSD and was wondering if anyone has had luck SE them? RE: Crucial SSD SE? - mothered - 06-12-2019 The SSD would be extremely light and will not register a significant weight on consignment, so the "missing Item" method Is best suited. Do research their refund/replacement terms prior to SEing. Could also try a partial if you're at least a little worried your attempt will fail. Claim you only received the cheaper item(s). Now the only orders showing on my account are two recent legit ones, do you think this will effect the SEing? Considering the orders have vanished from my account I hope not but Amazon might have the account flagged for suspicious behaviour, it says this for the item: Dispatched and sold by Amazon in certified Frustration-Free Packaging. So it's defiantly sold by amazon meaning amazons refund policy applies, I've been screwed before when I didn't check deep enough that the item was only shipped by amazon not sold by. I noticed that it will ship with packaging showing the SSD in the box, so I have to choose in shipping use amazon shipping packaging. Should this cause any issues? If you treat It as such and manipulate It without raising suspicion, It will succeed. Quote:I noticed that it will ship with packaging showing the SSD in the boxWhere exactly does It "show" that the SSD Is In the box during "shipment/transit?". RE: Crucial SSD SE? - unkn0wn123 - 06-13-2019 I mean in terms of packaging, the box shows what's inside and possibly shows the SSD in a window. This is what amazon says: Item arrives in packaging that reveals what's inside. So I'll have to order it without frustration free packaging as that comes in a normal box, the FFP is how it arrives to amazon. I can always (if they ask why I didn't want FFP) say I bought it for a gift so I needed the box for wrapping up etc. RE: Crucial SSD SE? - tedownyiskinm - 06-14-2019 Cant say i have ever had a package arrive from Amazon with the item viewable. I did order a Crucial SSD around Christmas time for personal use and it was in a normal box. If you mean the product box then the SSD i ordered didn't have a window, it was a small crucial branded box. RE: Crucial SSD SE? - h4x0rm1k3 - 07-23-2019 The following involves extra steps but using it you can keep doubling up your storage or memory every time you do it. Basically if you own any Crucial RAM or SSD you can return it for an RMA and here in the UK they send the replacement out as Royal mail 1st class post with no tracking etc. Then 2 weeks after they 'supposedly' sent the replacement out jump on chat, tell them you haven't received the item and you've checked with postman, neighbors etc and they will do a couple of quick checks their end and then come back to you and say that they are going to send out a replacement ASAP and this one will be sent as Special delivery next day by 1PM signed for delivery but at least now you have 2 of the same item and can do the whole process again to turn that in to 3, then 4 and so on and so on! I've done them for RAM at least 10 times to my home address and never had 1 problem with doubling up this way. This is what amazon says: I'm a little late to the party but doesn't this just mean that the packaging isn't a brown box but the actual retail packaging of the SSD? It will most likely arrive in a Crucial SSD retail box. Missing item should still work. |
