Should I but the substitute item from amazon? I did this method before but I bought something from Wal-Mart to avoid anything that can link me to the substitute item. If I use Amazon should I use a different acc/card to buy that item?

I think I understand what you mean, when doing a wrong item received method you shouldn’t buy something from amazon with the same card and account that you’re going to be using as the “wrong item”

Further to that, It's of the utmost Importance to match the weight of the wrong Item, as close as possible to the Item you're planning to SE.
