Back to basics - Defeat - 06-01-2019 It's been a while since I hit up Philips, needed a new electric toothbrush so why not? Ps. I would recommend anyone to begin with a company like this. As long as you can get the model and serial number, sit through some troubleshooting steps, you are golden!
RE: Back to basics - mothered - 06-01-2019 Nice one. Philips hasn't been too difficult In the past, but I didn't expect It to be this easy. It's interesting how on the registration of the product they allow you to input the proof of purchase but don't actually require it. Agree, It doesn't make sense asking for the POP when It's not a requirement. All the better for the SE'rs. It might be the fact they try to send individual parts instead of full units most of the time unless you really push it. Either that, or they're short on manpower, hence don't have the staff to sort out claims In a timely manner. RE: Back to basics - TheCrazy0ne - 06-04-2019 Well done, i've done phillips back in the day when 42" plasma tvs were the new big thing. I tried to SE a toothbrush from there and they required a proof of purchase to be uploaded plus a serial number. This is definitely not a 5 minutes job RE: Back to basics - Defeat - 06-04-2019 (06-04-2019, 11:56 AM)enether Wrote:It's 100% a 5 minute job, I just needed the serial number. I actually have the product so I could've provided a POP, but they didn't ask for it in the chat.(06-01-2019, 11:12 AM)Strait McCool Wrote:(06-01-2019, 04:43 AM)mothered Wrote: Nice one. RE: Back to basics - tedownyiskinm - 06-04-2019 Must be the agent you spoke to. They asked for POP and pic of serial on the bottom of the handle when i tried loool and made it very clear they would only replace the handle and would not send a new head or charger. Seems like they dont send a whole new unit, rather the bits they think are faulty. I guess you had the toothbrush already to provide the images needed? |
