How do I acquire a premium font? - itai86 - 05-19-2019
I have a font that I'd like but it's only available in a pack for around 12$. Any wizard out there able to find premium fonts for free?
It's from the font website myfonts.com and it's called 'stamppad'.

Yeah I searched it and there's just about a hundred fonts all like a stamppad.

There are so many resources online, that I wouldn't know where to begin without actually knowing what I'm looking for.

If you the font is on a website use your browsers inspect tool. Then view the network connections and there should be a fonts tab. click that and refresh the page. You should see some .woff/.woff2 files show up. You can then download these and convert to TTF using a free online conversion tool.
Alternatively you could print screen the font and save as an image, then upload to a font detection tool which may suggest some very similar fonts that are free.

Spot on indeed, thanks for taking the time. There are many similair fonts of course, but surprisingly few that meet the criteria I'm looking for. I ended up photoshopping the fonts myself for now but I'll definitely be trying this technique. Thanks for your input everyone, don't think I can hope for a better solution than tedownyiskinm has given me here, much appreciated.
