Refunding Google Pixel 3 - Purehoward - 04-22-2019
In the past I saw a lot of vendors offer their refund services on Google.
Nowadays I see that a lot of these sellers have stopped refunding Google.
My phone got stolen and I need a new phone so I was hesitating between Iphone XR or Pixel 3.
So I'll prob order a Pixel 3 this week and do a fake sign or empty box method.
Any suggestions? Did I miss any important update around SE/refunding Google? Like why did a lot of vendors stop offering Google refunds.

Well back in late 2018 google had a firing round kicking out many of our suppliers. And they patched almost all of our methods, you can still do it. It's just not worth it anymore.

So even old fashion ordering from google store and saying it didn't arrive won't work?

Yeah even that is very hard. Still possible but hard.

They may well blacklist the IMEI number, which will render the device useless.
It's always good practice to look Into this prior to SEing.
