Fitbit have certainly tightened their claims management as of recent.

I tried fitbit not long ago and it was actually extremely easy took like 6 messages and i got a brand new charge 3,
Maybe it just depends on the rep and how good/bad of a day they have had

Either way, a fitbit is a rather hard target for a start.
