Help with GearBest Refund/SE - gabritchi - 03-13-2019
So today i bring here a question about gearbest, i want to buy a smartphone from them with the value of 230$, i really need the money so i want to do a refund.
I need the best advices to make it happen, this company have been kinda hard to se and even refund, im going to use my real account since that i already bought many things there.
DNA will not work since that the company make us wait 3 months for the package.
DNA with no sign in the delivery will not work normally, because they always ask for it.
I really need the money and i have been SE many companys but about refunds i really need to start studying it.
So if someone could help me i would really appreciate

I've never posted here, so excuse me if this is out of line.. but if you really need the money, then don't do it in the first place.. There's never a guarantee an SE is going to work.

What i really want is to refund the item, what is not impossible but i need tips, thanks anyways for the advice

First and foremost, they may blacklist the IMEI number, hence render the phone useless.
Look Into this prior to SEing.

Depending on the weight, you can opt for the "missing Item" method. Alternatively, the "wrong Item received" method works well.
As a general example, when a device Is reported missing, the IMEI Is placed In a pool of blacklisted numbers, hence when you try and activate It with the carrier, they'll see the blacklist and reject It. You can change It, however given the IMEI number Is dedicated to the device It's assigned to, spoofing/changing It may still be rejected by the carrier during the activation process.
That said, there Is a workaround. The first 8 digits of the IMEI number known as the TAC (Type Allocation Code) Is what Identifies the model & device manufacturer. When changing It, leave those digits as Is and spoof the rest. As such, the IMEI number will show up to It's corresponding device when activating.

Keep in mind you need insurance package if you want get full refund with empty box method.
Otherwise they will offer you only partial refund.

i tried it one time and they will verify it witth the warhouse. and on their policy after it leaves the warhouse its the buyers responisiblity so it sucks

Well In that case, use the "wrong Item received" method.
It's "their responsibility" for picking, packing and shipping an Incorrect Item.
