Safest & Fastest DNS - prevent - 03-12-2019 https://1.1.1.1/ I used to use the DNS that came with my router, changed it to 1.1.1.1 & 1.0.0.1 and it gave me an extra 3mbps compared to Googles public DNS, 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 suggest not to use googles DNS unless you want to be their personal datafarm. <3 Love, -Prev Code: Click on the Start menu, then click on Control Panel.

You’re all set! Your device now has faster, more private DNS servers ✌️✌️RE: Safest & Fastest DNS - mothered - 03-12-2019 I'm always on a VPN, so It's their DNS servers that handle all requests. Having said that, In terms of anonymity, If your ISP Is Intercepting/rerouting your traffic via transparent DNS proxy, thereby forcing the use of their DNS servers as opposed to the VPNs, no VPN will save you- Irrespective of It's configuration and capacity In anonymizing your connection. That aside, thanks for the contribution. RE: Safest & Fastest DNS - prevent - 03-12-2019 Just thought I'd leave it in here just for people that want a faster dns on their router so their phone/other devices have better response time, I changed my router dns and it boosted my speed, and it never has random drop offs anymore. I'm always analytical with every service and configuration, hence my above post. |
