General refunding question - toni123 - 02-28-2019 Hello, so I'm from a country in EU called Slovenia- basically as far as I know you ALWAYS have to sign for packages here, no matter if it's low cost if it's the Slovenian post delivering or if it's UPS-GLS, we have to sign for it. So as I'am only 18 years of age and I come from a pretty low-average income I don't have a lot of money to waste and my computer has recently been struggling more and more. I basically need a GPU and probably an SSD for now. If I would be able to save up enough could I somehow refund something or how does this work as it's always signed if anyone can help a lil guy that has done nothing beyond a SS SE 2x like 1.5years ago. /ALSO thought if it's just better off trying to do like Logitech or somth and flip this and try to get into it?... Also have only been lurking and not posting a lot(not looking for someone to DO the work for me, I'm just trying to research my options here). Thanks a lot already
RE: General refunding question - titchyyyy - 03-01-2019 General starting point; SE some well known companies who allow you to get items without sending anything back (WD, Seagate, Phillips, Logitech, etc). This will give you the first confidence you require to go higher. Flip these products locally or online for money and build your bank up. Once you reach like 100 euros, go to an online video game store and buy a couple of Switch video games (they're very very light and don't register any weight in consignment) + a random item. Tell them that the two Switch games did not arrive but the one item did. Since it'll be one of your first orders, they should easily offer a refund. Sell the games online or locally and your bank will almost double. At this point, you can start targeting Amazon. It's always better to have previous orders on a fresh Amazon account but it isn't needed. You can then probably try and grab an SSD since it's low cost + they don't register much weight. Try and order the SSD alongside a cheap item and simply do the same as you did with the video games, tell them that the SSD hadn't arrived. They'll either believe you and give you an instant refund or you'll end up having to get a police report. It's safe to get a police report and the police cannot prove you've received it or not. I'd stick to following a route like this before going in for a GPU. |
