SE RTX 2080ti - yaboyali - 02-15-2019

So I’m currently trying to SE a 2080ti from msi, I already am in the rma and return process and have told them I returned my item already when i haven’t. They keep telling me they haven’t received anything

This was there last message : We are not the shipping carrier so we cannot be held responsible if we do not receive the packages this is something that you have to take up with the shipping carrier to file a lost claim or if they can trace the package. The MSI warranty is a one way shipping policy as stated in the RMA email that you received unfortunately there's not much we can do if we don't receive the package. I suggest you look for the tracking number so you can file a lost claim or have the shipping company trace the package.

Any thoughts on where I can take this?

Seems to me like your SE is dead in the water.

I mean, it sounds like they've pretty much made up their mind. You'll have to prove that you've sent the item back to them and they hold no responsibility if it gets lost, that's down to you to sort out with the courier.

It sounds to me like MSI are no easy touch, they won't be shipping or repairing anything unless they've received some sort of item in the first place.

I don't think MSI actually have stock of their own, they sell via retailers, so I can only imagine they'll be very very hard if not impossible to SE.

Damn, that sucks. I don't know where to go with it. Like you said, it's pretty much dead. What do you think I should have done, or maybe there is no work arround with MSI?

Comply with their request and contact the carrier. If you don't, It's an admission of guilt.

Be adamant and "demand" they locate the package (of course, they won't) and express your frustration In a firm, yet polite manner. Also, reply to MSI and keep them updated with all developments. Do not give In- persistence Is the key to success.

Good to read, and you're welcome.

Be confident, assume an authoritative figure and take control of your claim. Also, continue to express your disappointment and stand firm.
