Valentine's Day In a Nutshell - SpecterHunter - 02-14-2019
Yay, its Valentines Day and im going to share a story about my old class in 7th grade.
Before when i was in 7th grade, we hated Valentines Day, and when i mean hated it, I mean disgusted and pure hatred. To us, it meant that we usually had a stalker, or someone wanted you for themselves. And how did i know? because it happened to one of my friends. There was one girl that just stared at him at break time or lunch. Just eye-boggled him. I told my bud that she was watching him, and i forget what he said because i really don't have the space to say. Anyways, he asked me to keep watch and she bought one of the candy grams the school always sold for a dollar at lunch. anyways, i told him, and we waited till lunch was over and went to class. And you know what? He got three. He just put them in his backpack, and said nothing. kind off funny because that means either my eyes were crap, or girls really liked him.
Anyways, that's Valentines Day In a Nutshell.

Well its a corporate holiday, not religious, whats the purpose of it?
If you love somebody, it should be everyday not one or two days out of the year.
Therefore i dont care for it, and i tell the same to everyone.
People are always looking for these things or 'occasions' to get drunk spend money, and be crazy. Although you can have fun without acting stupidly.

Christmas is, but its become something obscure which i dont understand, its supposed to be about family and being grateful to yourself, commemorating the birth of Jesus among other festivities.

Never said it was religious, never was talking about Christmas, and I was pointing out their named after a religious figure. Go ahead, click the links and read. The information is literally right there.
Y'all going to hate me for this, but Christmas, was never about Jesus. That's a great example of marketing exploitation. Jesus was most likely born sometime towards June, July - ish.
( No one really knows has it was literally THOUSANDS of years ago)
His followers, and disciples alike, all considered it almost blasphemy to mark his birthday, as he was the Messiah, and not human.

That's my point. Most holidays are from THOUSANDS or HUNDREDS of years ago. They have been changed, and altered so much, they're not a holiday anymore. They're just another day.
