Apple UK Airpods, Boxing vs Empty Box? - Lurk - 02-13-2019 So my airpods I ordered directly from apple arrived today, I thought they wouldn't say a weight on them so I could say the box was empty but they arrived and on the front it says 0.2kg. I feel if I say the box was empty they'll tell me that they weighed it and it was fine. I've thought about boxing, don't really know how to go about it though. Any advice is appreciated and will let you know how it goes. RE: Apple UK Airpods, Boxing vs Empty Box? - Smokee - 02-13-2019 just ring them and say you received your parcel today but slight problem, its missing the airpods entirely RE: Apple UK Airpods, Boxing vs Empty Box? - Biglad465 - 02-13-2019 Airpods weigh about 40g I think , they will have rounded the weight up / down . You should be fine saying it was an empty box. RE: Apple UK Airpods, Boxing vs Empty Box? - mothered - 02-13-2019 As said above, AirPods are extremely light so the "missing Item" method will work. Do not go by the gross weight, always the net weight when SEing a given Item. Hello, hopefully you can reply to this. I have already connected the airpods to my phone. If I call apple and say the item was missing will they be able to tell I'm lying? You'll be fine, go with the "missing Item" method. |
