AMAZON Launched "investigation" regarding my order - YakuzaN - 02-11-2019 Hello Quick question. I was SE'ing Amazon and they told me they will launch an investigation regarding my order, and that they will send me a document that they require me to sign at the bottom as they may pursue it with the police (UK) Am I safe to sign it etc? Will police really do anything? Anyone else had any experiences? Story: Bought an item that required a signature on delivery. The delivery guy never asked for a signature, just walked off and left. Amazon now says Delivered "Handed to resident" (I live in a house with around 10 people in) I called them, they told me they will be sending me a document to sign as investigation has now been launched regarding the order. What will happen? Will the delivery courier go to my house now? Also, how long do investigations take? RE: AMAZON Launched "investigation" regarding my order - Spontaneous - 02-11-2019 Nah nothing will happen unless the item was in the grand Larceny area like $1200+ Otherwise just don’t sign anything and you should be good, your account will probably get banned that’s about it. If It's an affidavit, It's legally binding and admissible In court, so do NOT sign It. The moment you receive It, please reply.
