AirPod SE Through Amazon - manlikeferg - 01-28-2019

If i want to SE some AirPods , using the missing item method . Do i claim that i just received an amazon cardboard box that was totally empty ( just packing paper ) . Or do i say the AirPod box was inside the amazon shipping box but just the headphones themselves were not in the product box. Not sure if this makes sense . appreciate help .

This is probably one of the easiest things; say the box arrived empty without anything in it.

Exactly this.

AirPods only weigh 42 grams (charging case Inclusive), so given they do not register a weight on consignment, the company cannot cross-reference the carrier's records.

doesnt the airpod boxing create additional weight though ? so saying i just recieved an empty amazon box might not work due to weights ?

As said, the entire contents, Inclusive of the charging case, Is 42 grams which will not register a weight on consignment. If you wish to SE "only" the AirPod, that weighs 4 grams. Based on this, you cannot fail with the missing Item method or boxing.
