Recommended Drivers - Aeolian - 01-23-2019

Quick question,

If im wanting to update my drivers properly is it best done directly through the Windows>Updates etc. 'Or is there a special little website which will give me all the necessary drivers.

Thank you!

I don't recommend using "driver updater" tools. They are installing lots of shits on your pc. I'm just using windows updates and happy with that. No need to use 3rd party tool

If Windows has the proper drivers, you're probably fine. That said, I'd recommend visiting the manufacturer's site and using theirs (especially for GPUS).

Updating through Device Manager could also help with updates. Not perfect but may get you the most recent drivers.

I realize you've updated your drivers, but for future reference, always do It via the manufacturer's website.

There are countless tools/software that scan your system, download the drivers and update thereafter. You don't know "where" they're being obtained, so do not use such tools.

the best way to update your drivers is to use window updates.

My recomendation is to go with Hardware manufacturers drivers first. Then the other alts.

Always download via the manufacturer's website.

As opposed to third-party applications that download and Install drivers from unknown sources, you have peace of mind that the drivers are from the official site and clean.
