Salutations, sinister.li o/
I've come to you for help in the past, and you've always came through for me. I'm very appreciative of that. But I need help for something else.
As you can see in the picture below on the left, is my folder. On the right, is another folder. For some weird reason, I woke up this morning and my (I guess you would call it address bar) and "Search" feature was gone.

I've done a lot googling, and I couldn't come up with anything. I've even considered a live-chat with some tech company. Now I don't have any money because I'm a poorfag, but I will do what I can to return the favor.
Please help me out here guys. This is really fucking me over, every time I'm in a folder.

Dude! The same thing happened to me a few months ago. I didn't really need it much so I just brushed it off. But I re-installed my windows and now it's back.

I know nothing about that OS, so there isn't much I can do to help, sorry.

Yeah, it's windows 8.
I just wish I could take all of my data, remove windows 8, and slam a windows 7 in there, and keep all of my things just the way they were.

That's weird. I went and checked mine and then through the settings, didn't find much else.

I can't think of any way to fix this. I looked through my settings, and I couldn't see a thing.
I'd suggest calling tech support, like you said.

That's hilarious. If your settings aren't the culprit it could be an issue with your copy of Windows, in which case I'd recommend reinstallation.
