Questions about the general : "my product is broken" - Biglad465 - 01-19-2019
So correct me if im wrong but if you call up a company saying e.g. my £100 monitor is broken please issue me a refund? They just ask you to return it which means you gain nothing out of the process. Just curious as im hoping to try me first SE soon and want to get all the details sorted.
Additional question : if I want to say my product was not delivered do I need to make sure that I do not answer the door when the delivery man rings.

You do not ship "your" monitor, but rather another one that's similar and non-functional.

Just so It's worth your while, be sure It's significantly cheaper than your original monitor.

Thanks ! One final question on the delivery tracker doesn't it say if the package was left with a neighbour , the buyer himself or in a mailbox etc... Is it ok to collect it from the delivery man at the door then say that I never received the package?

Yes, you can do that.
Just remember that delivering a package, Is not the same as receiving It. They may have evidence the carrier delivered It, but by no means Is It an Indication that you personally received It.

i recommend if your doing your first se start with something small and then try other stuff.
