Logitech evolved - Johnngnky - 01-16-2019

So when I se'd Logitech, they replied ok on the phone, but 2 days later this happened:

Spoiler:
Dear John,

Good day just an update about your case. Unfortunately our back office has rejected the replacement. I do apologize but our back office is requesting if you could able to provide a copy of the receipt or a proof of purchase so we can proceed for the replacement. Kindly email me back immediately so i can reprocess this.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Best regards,

Julius

So I just went on aoba.host and quickly got a fake Amazon receipt.
And copied the whole thing to the email and sent back.
But after that, I realised the links in it are linking back to aoba.host itself, so do you think they will notice?

Lmao
This is more of a information thread than a question thread.
Their asking me for a photo now.

If they are asking for S/N proof then simply go on eBay/Gumtree/Craigslist and find the product with the S/N exposed and Photoshop your S/N onto it.
If you are not sure how to Photoshop, a simple Google of how to blend text should help.

For the future, look around on these forums for receipt templates, as you simply fill out your details, print it, scrunch it up a bit and take a picture.

Logitech is very easy to SE, most reps woild accept a bad Photoshop in my experience.

It's not possible to be definitive on how they process your claim, hence whether they'll notice, remains to be seen.

You cannot reverse what you've done/submitted.
Please reply when a response Is received.

Dear John,

Good day just an update about your case. Our back office has mention upon checking base on the S/N that you have provided. We already process a replacement with it and its been reported has faulty. At this moment on our end we can't process any replacement with your device. The only option is kindly refer or contact the store were you purchase this device.

This ^ Is contradictory. Have they, or haven't they processed a replacement? It cannot be both. Also, they really need to work on their grammar- It's very poorly written.

^ Complete nonsense. If they can't process It on their end, why did they Initially request the following:
Quote:I do apologize but our back office is requesting if you could able to provide a copy of the receipt or a proof of purchase so we can proceed for the replacement.

I suggest contacting them and ask to escalate your claim.

I believe Logitech is saying that the S/N he used has already been used for a replacement

That's what they meant.
@mothered
I agree, thanks for the advice, elevating the claim will help,I think, but what do you expect.
They probably won't accept the request since the serial is used before and they probably know it's a se attempt.

It may well be that the serial Is already used, but there's nothing Indicative of that In their reply.

You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain by taking It to a higher level.
