Logitech (sort of general) SE'ing question - ButterMyToes - 01-14-2019

So I've decided to use my serial number for my G502 to try and get a second one for a friend (saying the mouse double clicks sometimes even on single clicks). However, say that this goes south and they require me to send it in or something like that. People say to just try again, but don't companies log the serial number or something after an event like that to prevent things like this? Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I feel like that would be a good measure for them to take and it would only make sense.

It depends, I have personally have not tried with logitech and always burned the serial (just in case) and started again. It's really not that hard to get sh*t loads of serials, especially for logitech products :kappa:

But you pretty much don't tell them SN right away and you are telling them that in the moment when they want to send you replacement, but it's logitech, so you can possibly do it right away even with same rep. lol. Biggrin (< meant to be joke)

So some companies log it, some may not, I don't know about logitech, but it's always better to be safe. <

Cheers

Ah, you're right tbh, Logitech SN's are pretty cheap. I guess it won't hurt to try then Smile Thanks for the advice!

I have a huge stock of G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB Tunable Gaming Mouse serials.

If you need any, let me know.
