Actually calling USPS during DNA Amazon refund? - makethosetittiesfart - 01-09-2019 Hey! Had some SE experience a few years ago but haven't done it since then. I have a long standing amazon account with a good amount of orders, no refunds etc. Just pulled the trigger on a 330$ CPU, shipped by amazon. Hypothetically, when I call should I say I have already contacted USPS and they said it was delivered? If they ask me to talk to them should I actually do it, or just say I did? Anyone have experience with this/ the info I would need to give USPS and what they would give me in return? Also, is DNA a shit method these days, should I go for something better? Thanks a ton RE: Actually calling USPS during DNA Amazon refund? - popeye74uk - 01-09-2019 the mot important thing is to treat it like it really did not show up try and think how you would behave, I would personally have no problem with calling usps but I would wait till im asked to by amazon, I preferer being friendly and compliant as at the end of they day the person is just doing there job and following the rules as laid down by the company so I try to never to give anyone a hard time unless they deserve it then just talk to someone else. RE: Actually calling USPS during DNA Amazon refund? - makethosetittiesfart - 01-09-2019 Thanks! Definitely never take the get pissed route. I was just wondering if that would be the best route to take or if calling USPS would make it more difficult if I had to do it! What do you think about getting the 5$ insurance on items? Stupid little detail but I feel like it could make it seem more legitimate RE: Actually calling USPS during DNA Amazon refund? - popeye74uk - 01-09-2019 it does and it doesn't I think it has to be similar to your normal habits as this make it more believable in your own mind, so personally I would almost never by insurance on things less than100 unless I know there was a possibility of postal damage, so not my natural style of buying. From an amazon instigation point of view, I believer I would see the pattern of someone buying insurance on items that go missing if its just one off's the no matter, but if you think long term you don't want to put your self in to habits away from the norm, so just order how you would normally and go from there. This may seem silly to most who read this but If I was doing a DNA approach I would put the item away out of sight and then contact them asking when will it arrive, I find for myself the more natural to me the better and the more honest I will seem its probably pointless but its little like method acting. |
