Question about Discord - Nutrition - 01-04-2019
Me and about 25 other people have created a discord server to help each other with refunding things. I'm just curious as to if we could get into legal trouble from this server and if we should move to another way of communication. I've hear about people getting in trouble from discord before, but I don't know if that will happen. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah what I figured, do you know any good ways of communicating that can have bigs groups?

I would recommend something self hosted such as IRC, RocketChat (I'm partial to it), Riot (which is built upon Matrix), MatterMost, or something of the like. If you can't' do self hosted or need help doing it send me a PM and I can try to guide you through something

Discord has been banning people and deleting servers. We disallowed SE discussion on our Discord, and it was still shut down.
You and your friends are welcome to use our IRC, if your group doesn't already have a home forum. Be sure to read our rules.

For discussions pertaining to SEing, Discord Is not a good choice.
