SE Samsung - tester123 - 01-03-2019

I've got an IMEI number off a samsung S7 and they want it to be inspected by an engineer.
Don't have the s/n, but is there any way to get out of the inspection?

Might try the battery leak.

Update: They want it sent to a service centre and have asked a courier to schedule a collection. Can I still get out of this by saying the phones been thrown out? They're waiting for me to arrange a date.

Update: Stumbled up and claimed a member of family was paranoid about battery leaks and sent the phone to an e-waste recycling centre. Samsung wants an invoice or receipt of goods from the place. Any bright ideas?

I'm guessing it worked? Which company did you use for receipt?

Nope, buggered. E-waste centres here don't give receipts.

You could try telling them that , or alternatively Photoshop one from a. Place that does give receipts.

I have a Samsung galaxy s9 serial number and imei for the same device if you need it. As for the invoice, I don't have a generator. I would suggest just photoshopping one.
