Amazon UK question - tester123 - 12-31-2018 Hi all, Would just like to check up on something. Amazon's regular policy is that they'll refund or replace an item sold and dispatched by them directly, however I've noticed some major brands are sold by amazon, but this isn't reflected. IE: The microsoft stuff are shown as "Microsoft" or "Xbox". So in the case of the xbox one s, it says "Xbox" there instead of "Amazon". Does this mean that its sold by Xbox/Microsoft, so would that mean that Amazon would refund/replace it if I'm trying to SE Amazon. The broken item system has worked in the past with smaller ticket items like 1tb SSDs. Thank you RE: Amazon UK question - Tibo inc - 12-31-2018 As long as it says fulfilled by amazon it will be easy. It will be harder if it is sold by a third party, but not impossible. IE. Didn't arrive or wrong/no item arrived. Will definitely use a fake signature though. If you're going to use a fake signature, do It toward the external boundary of your premises (example, next to the mailbox). As such, a passerby could've signed and collected the package, hence In support of your DNA method. One time my finger was accidently on the screen of the little touch pad thing as I was signing. It messed the signature up so bad it was just lines. I apologised to the deliverer but he said it was all fine and I didn't have to redo it. Also, you can SE the driver Into signing It himself (I've done It a number of times), whereby you distract him with a very friendly conversation of "his" Interests and then quickly walk off with the package. When you're quite a distance away, apologize that you forgot to sign It. Drivers have a set run and In a hurry, so you'll find that most will sign It and drive off. |
