Smashed aftsershave, company requesting photos - Rednaxela1 - 12-18-2018 A company is asking for photo proof of broken glass. I have stated i discarded of the packaging due to safety reasons and they're refusing to do anything about it. Any ideas? Thanks. RE: Smashed aftsershave, company requesting photos - mothered - 12-18-2018 Send them a corrupted file, and keep doing so with every request. The following sites work well. https://corrupt-a-file.net/ https://pinetools.com/corrupt-a-file http://www.corruptmyfile.com/ RE: Smashed aftsershave, company requesting photos - GreatLimbo - 12-19-2018 What mothered said except after I sent the first corrupted picture I would just claim you disposed of it and argue that. More likely you threw it away after taking the picture than the picture is corrupted every time... but that's just my opinion! I am by no means an expert. The following sites work well. Obviously they will not be able to open the Image (that's the objective) but as far as you're concerned, given It (seemingly) functions fine on your end, It Is their fault that they can't open It. When they request for another Image, you apologize and send It In a "different" file format. This gives the Impression that you're trying your utmost best to resolve the matter. You reassure them (once again) that It's working fine on your end. Keep doing this on each request and vent your frustration In a firm, yet polite fashion as to why It's taking so long. This Is what SEing Is all about- assuming an authoritative figure and taking control of the situation. You need to reverse the role and push "them" to their limit, thereby achieve your Intention. RE: Smashed aftsershave, company requesting photos - FreightTrain - 12-21-2018 It may not work now since you said you've already discarded the package, but I'd just buy a cheap bottle of alcohol and smash it inside of a box. Once it's smashed, remove any labeling. Bonus points if you can print off a picture of their aftershave logo, cut and trim it so it looks like it was on the bottle, just place it under some glass. Enough so they can see it in the picture, but not enough to see that it's a piece of paper rather than the real thing. RE: Smashed aftsershave, company requesting photos - mothered - 12-22-2018 @Rednaxela1, any further developments? Unfortunately not, i was told that a refund wouldn't happen because i said i discarded of the broken contents. I have thought of an idea that would seem bizarre at first but could potentially be good going forward. If it works well i will be sure to post here. But some aftershaves/perfumes (especially expensive ones) come in uniquely designed bottles. They could also request photos of the perfume/aftershave box. |
