Amazon advice - EpsilonA - 12-09-2018 What is considered to be a safe limit of SE'd refunds on Amazon over the course of a month, in terms of attempts/refund value? I am using a several months old account with many legitimate purchases, I plan on only using return method with different item inside whilst preserving original packaging (with unbroken factory seal if possible). I was recently successful with getting a refund about 150$ worth, by opening up package while keeping seal intact and placing similar used item inside. How long should I wait until my next attempt? Thanks for your help RE: Amazon advice - unkn0wn123 - 12-09-2018 I'd also like to know how many refunds you can get away with without getting shut down. RE: Amazon advice - EpsilonA - 12-10-2018 Anyone knowledgeable on this subject? RE: Amazon advice - MrSamuel - 12-10-2018 In my experience, given its your main account ie lots of legitimate purchases varying in value and the account is nicely dated. I would say for every 1 in 10 orders you should be good. The key is when looking at your account history, there’s no reason to believe you’re up to no good. So that means keep changing your methods of SE ie DNA, wrong item, item missing, box them. Try not to SE the same items. It’s hard to give an exact number as every account is different. Just know once you receive the “Warning” email, you need to increase the time and legitimate orders between each SE attempt. RE: Amazon advice - EpsilonA - 12-10-2018 Thanks for the info. I've ordered a discounted PS4 Pro (~300$) and plan to SE it. It's impossible to use DNA here since all parcels that don't fit in mailbox are either hand delivered or left at postal office with signature requirement. I'm unsure how exactly I want to proceed, I want to send back the console box looking like it wasn't opened, but I don't have a different console to put in its place. I was thinking of opening up the PS4 Pro shell since it's pretty easy to disassemble, and remove the actual hardware from inside, replacing it with a similar weight. RE: Amazon advice - Kekkokush - 12-10-2018 Can’t you just remove the ps4 and put inside the box some books or other things? Should you really be that blatant about it? Leaving the plastic shell seems to be safer since it would look normal without a closeup inspection of the back connection ports. RE: Amazon advice - Kekkokush - 12-10-2018 Ok so you want to leave in the amazon box the original ps4 box and just remove the console and the other things and put something inside the ps4 box, am i right? I was talking about tearing down the PS4 and taking out the actual hardware from the plastic housing, then leaving the housing with some weight inside. I don't know if there's any point in going that far, it's just that it would appear normal in case the box was opened for checking. RE: Amazon advice - Kekkokush - 12-10-2018 Wow ahahah seems a good plan but , i don’t know, at the end you will only get the ps4 hardware , i’m not too expert but i think that you could do something different , can’t you for example put in the box some pristine products, maybe cheap products and say them that youb have receives the wrong product? |
