Amazon closure - Defeat - 12-05-2018

Do you guys close your Amazon accounts as you move to new ones or just leave them inactive?

I just leave mine inactive Smile

There’s no harm in just leaving them there, is there?

No difference either way.

I leave It as Is- you never know If you may need It In future.

If they start investigating your accounts due to similarity it will hurt you. I had three closed all together because they found they were linked together with same payment name and or address. Live to learn.

Records are still kept with all account closures. Once It's In the system, It's never gone.

It's similar to deleting your Gmail account. The "account" cannot be recovered (after ex-amount of days), but the email address associated with that account Is still In use. Meaning It cannot be reused (registered) again, hence belonging to the deleted account.
