I’ve recently ordered a couch from wayfair, the total was $500. People are saying it’s easy to get a refund from wayfair. What would be the best method to get a refund for a couch from wayfair though?

Use the wrong Item received method. Tell them you didn't take notice of the couch until sometime after the delivery.
They stock the Clarksville Loveseat at 142.00$ so If you can purchase that for a lot cheaper from another store, they can pick that up as the returned Item and refund the original order.
