I might be blacklisted? How can I tell? - sora670 - 11-26-2018 I think My address or something might be blacklisted but I am not sure. I make new accounts and then place an order only to have my account get locked saying that I have put in the incorrect billing information. I have called Amazon and they tell me that the billing information is incorrect but I know it is. Any sure way to know if your address is blacklisted? RE: I might be blacklisted? Did Amazon explain what part of the billing Information Is Incorrect? Their customer support should help with elaborating. RE: I might be blacklisted? The billing address used, has to be the same as the billing address held by the payment cc. If you try to change that, they will notice that it is not matching, eventually. To clear it up, repond to their email with the correct billing address and your account should be freed. In my experience, I was able to refund one order on amazon with an intentionally false billing address. They noticed on the next order and locked the account till I provided a valid billing address. RE: I might be blacklisted? How can I tell? - mothered - 12-03-2018 @sora670, just to touch base with you, any further developments? RE: I might be blacklisted? How can I tell? - sora670 - 12-05-2018 So what I did was I went to the b@nk and just canceled my old Visa Debit c@rd and gave it another shot. I also Changed my mac address and reset my router. I was 100 for sure banned there was no doubt about it. SO after that I went ahead and tried again and it worked. The thing is after my second SE I got banned again. So I am wondering is it the c@rd or what. I am gonna attempt to change my mac address and reset my router again to see if anything new happens. I might just have to try a new c@rd again. The thing that confuses me so much, is it my shipping and billing address that's blocked or the c@rd or what. So many Factors I dont know which one if could be. @mothered RE: I might be blacklisted? So many Factors I dont know which one if could be. Firstly when your account got banned again, did it say something along the lines of “we closed your account because we found it was directly related to a closed account”? Secondly when you got your new crd, was the billing address still the same as the address of the previous crd that got banned? When making new accounts after an account closure, you have to make sure all details have been changed ie name, shipping address, crd details, billing address. As it only takes one of these factors to link you to the closed account. RE: I might be blacklisted?
