I've received this morning an i7 7700k from amazon, and the postman give me the package and run away. He didnt asked me for singned or nothing.
Amazon notify me now that i've received the item.

If i use DNA, how long it would be? Cause i were thinking to use the method from another user in the forum that it doesnt work and replace it with another. Because it is refurbished. This is the state of the item

Any suggestions on wich method to use? I think that the idea of replace it for another one its pretty solid because of the status of the processor.

I would replace it with another if you received that item from the warehouse section. Worked for me in the past and the staff aren't likely to be that bothered to check just that the items in there.

You could buy a cheap celeron and swap the IHS's of cpus. Would got you covered in case they check whether you sent the correct item or not.

Won't they know you did it if the next buyer claims he got the wrong cpu?

"It was like that when I received it" I just resent the one that i've receive, since is a refurbished

On the above grounds, why not use the DNA? You have everything In your favor.

They've notified that the Item was delivered, not received- you didn't sign for It.

There's a big difference between the two.

It's difficult to be conclusive.

Because the DNA Is more so carrier-based (must liaise and confirm with the carrier) and given the cost Is a little on the high side, It's certainly a possibility.
