Hello people. If one does the Amazon refund process successfully, is it safe to re-sell instead of keeping it? If they bring it to the apple store to do an investigation, how risky is that? Even if it was ' fulfilled by amazon' seller

Typically you should be fine, the serial number is only tracked if shipped and sold by amazon. Although nothing is stopping 3rd party sellers from reporting the serial number themselves.
