Have you ever received a DMCA notification - hacxx - 11-14-2018
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here have received any DMCA notification because of their files?
Is it serious or is it common to receive one.

I did receive a notice many years ago.
It was dealt with, by simply complying with their request and removing the files from the server. If It's the first notice, provided you don't abuse It by pleading Ignorance, then It should be fine.

Yeah, about 2 months+ ago i got DMCA for a NFS The Run torrent lol. My parents ofc were not happy

Adding to my post above, I've also received a notice from my ISP relating to certain torrents I downloaded on a particular day.
I found out later, It was my friend who was responsible- he didn't hook onto his VPN whilst using my AP.
Always comply with their request and you'll find It'll be fine.
