Does anyone know if refunding Google has led to any personal courier investigations which led to their house being visited?

We have already talked about this on another thread, here : https://sinister.li/Thread-Amazon-Refunded-Me-Wrong-Order?highlight=warrant
Yea I miss read your thread. Visits shouldn't be a problem if you don't tell them that there was a giant rip in the package, then you might get visitted.

I've had UPS knocking on my door multiple times regarding an order in the low thousands I signed for. They also asked for a police report and I filed one.

Just work with them. Just think, what would you do if your package really was missing? Be smart, don't abuse it when it's your own addy and name and stick to your story. They can't prove anything and no one can come in your house looking for merchandise just because Google asked them to.

If they do pay you a visit, It's simply part of their protocol to proceed further with the Investigation. They "cannot" enter your premises without a warrant.

It's nothing more than a few questions.

I understand your position.

We can advise and suggest based on personal experience, but given every SE Is handled on a case-by-case basis, It's very difficult to be definitive. In fact, It's just not possible.
