Noticed something with steelseries - karoloydi - 11-11-2018
I was creating a ticket for steelseries and noticed something interesting.
I was noticing at the bottom left of the page which URL links are opening and noticed that steelseries was trying to access facebook.
And I didn't notice any option to actually make an account with steelseries using your facebook account. So that was a bit weird.
I'm not sure if they will actually be able to see your name without you logging in. But better be careful.

I'm not sure if they will actually be able to see your name without you logging in. But better be careful.
It's likely the info they're sharing is purely advertisement information however it might be worth being cautious. I always VPN in a separate browser for safety.

I've just submitted a ticket on my test account by hitting the "Create Ticket" button, and there was no reference to Facebook.
If so, as @toonblue mentioned above, I'd say It'll be for advertising/marketing purposes.
