ASOS Order Issue - saleebomak - 11-04-2018

I've been trying to place an order with ASOS for around $380 but it keeps getting canceled. I've tried creating new accounts, new card (using privacy), VPN, and even used a different address (reship). Once I place the order, in about 10-12 hours I receive an email stating that my account has been canceled and I would need to provide a photo ID that includes my billing address. The accounts also then get banned. Anyone know why this is happening and what I can do?

No, I've bought from them 3 times, two of the orders were like in 2016. The last order I did was a couple months ago and I refunded it, but it was only $70. When I wanted to place my order, I did not even use that account, I made new accounts. Do you think I should try placing an order on my original account and go for a partial refund?

Try that, could also be a temporary issue with their system. Try contacting them?
It could also be an issue with your card, the fact that you are using Privacy. I don't know though, maybe.

dont use a vpn, a lot of websites deny orders done by vpn

VPN is very likely the issue

RE: ASOS Order Issue - titchyyyy - 03-01-2019

If you've only made one refund out of 3, why are you using a VPN? They're hardly out for your neck because you got a single order.

A lot of reship addresses are added to banned lists, a lot of VPN's are added to banned lists, your account probably smells of fraud when it is created due to this.

Create a new account, in your name, using your own IP, using your own address. Having 2-3 refunds from Asos isn't going to bite you in the arse. There are genuine accounts who have several refunds from stuff. That's how clothes shops works.

Good luck Smile
