Logitech SE success - twinkletoes1 - 11-02-2018 Did my first logitech SE after reading some threads here and online and just wanted to provide some information on how it went down. 1) Acquired SE from craigslist seller, got him to take a picture for me ahead of the call 2) Called in to Logitech support, told them my G910 orion keyboard is experiencing double key issues and I'm looking to get some help 3) Ran through multiple troubleshooting steps, even let the rep convince me it was my PC's fault, and pretended to "try" it on another PC in the house and assumed it was all good for about 15 seconds then told her nope the problem is still here 4) Once they did all the troubleshooting I was told they will replace my keyboard as soon as they receive mine. I told them it wasn't good enough I can't afford any downtime and the rep offered to do cross ship RMA 5) I insisted that I cannot have even 10 minutes of downtime because I work from home and this is preventing me from doing my job well, but I also need the keyboard because I can't write any e-mails with out it. This took about 20 minutes of back and forth. every time the rep said this is the best we can do, I said it doesn't work for me and stayed silent. 6) Rep said it'll be a longshot but she'll submit the ticket for Advanced RMA and if their "back office" approves I'll be notified via e-mail 7) In about 24 hours I was sent an e-mail confirming my RMA, followed up by a ship confirm e-mail. Nowhere on my ticket does it even say they want the old "keyboard" back. I don't see it being too hard getting some speakers, mouse, and headset using vpn, drop site, new email, etc. Hope this provides some insights and good luck SEing! RE: Logitech SE success - mothered - 11-02-2018 The following Is a huge advantage. Quote:Nowhere on my ticket does it even say they want the old "keyboard" back. This can be used as a general guide, and manipulated according to the SE In progress. Thanks for sharing your experience. RE: Logitech SE success - GotCamo122 - 11-02-2018 Nice job. I'm in the middle of doing a G920, did one a while ago but now Logitech seems to be a lot more difficult and don't want to budge without seeing a picture of the bottom of a G920 where its serial number is with a handwritten note of my case I.D. If anyone has any advice or can help me out that would be pretty swell. RE: Logitech SE success - Vanfuzzy - 11-02-2018 (11-02-2018, 09:32 PM)GotCamo122 Wrote: Nice job.
