SEing a Logitech G502 Mouse and a G910 Orion Keyboard. Have I done it right? - MysticalOof - 10-22-2018

So I bought some serials, for like 1 - 0.5 usd. Its my first time SEing anything and would like advice, I live in the UK and I made 2 seperate accounts for both products with different names.
General Message I sent for the mouse:
I received this today from a friend as a gift, and when I plugged it in and started to play Fortnite, everything felt off, my aim was broken. AND when I clicked I could feel a significant Delay. After using it for an hour, I can tell that it seems to be defective, and I need a replacement. - Basically what I sent them

Keyboard:
Operating System / Device Platform: Windows
My keys keep on getting jammed. Whenever I play fortnite I press the `W` and it gets stuck and makes me go forward until I die. This happens all the time in the 3 hours I had it for. I'm almost 100% sure it is defective and would like a replacement

Have I done it right or have I messed it up pls help, I would be vry thankful if you did,

You might be too late. It seems to be saturated, but your method should work.

You must try to put more SE on your future SEings, try to not go to ''send me a replacement'' too quick, and let them offer it to you, or just w8 for their response to start asking for the replacement, otherwise you would look like anxious and it doesnt play on your favour

Ik that’s why I think I messed it up. I could always act as the consumer that is bossy and thinks they know shit. And be like I don’t care! Give me a replacement or is that a bad idea. I could always go on the phone.

Conveying your emotion as a consumer who bought an item that no longer works is absolutely paramount to the success of your SE. You are disappointed or your son is sad that he can no longer use the product he bought and you saved up for weeks to buy it. The human firewall is only so strong.

Mhm, that’s really useful advice. Considering that a lot of people you know feel sympathy. And in customer support positions isn’t one of the better traits is to be caring in a way? But that’s my opinion lol.

This ^^

For future reference, do not "Instantly" request a replacement/refund- It's an Indirect admission of desperation on your part.

Every company has certain protocols and guidelines when claims are submitted (example, troubleshooting devices), and once they've exhausted that process to no avail, they'll usually offer a replacement. If they don't, that's when you request It.
