Wifi extenders? - Yuji - 10-19-2018

Hey guys does wifi extenders work well?

Also, does power line adapters work? Was thinking about trying it out and it seems to either be a hit or a miss.

Never used a WiFi extender but have thought about installing WAP's. Let me know how it goes if you do install extenders.

Again I heard WAPs kinda suck. Was thinking about wiring my home, but wouldn't add value to it and cost quite a bit.

They do work (to some degree), some better than others.

These reviews are fine and all. Although it seems that depending on your house and the houses around you, it could be a issue. Just too many variables to figure out when setting up one of these.

You're certainly correct.

The reviews document their advantages at the "maximum" coverage/speed as per factory specs. Your equipment, location and obstacles around you all play a major role In their performance.
