Tor Increased Security (Blacklist 14-eyes countries) tutorial - WifuSoundboard - 10-18-2018

Hi open torcc and add:
ExcludeNode {us}, {uk}, {ca}, {de}, {fr}, {il}, {no}, {nz}
StrictNodes 1
Save and restart Tor.
ExcludeNodes {countrycode} has Tor avoid the countries you specify, in this case the 5-eyes surveillience Countries.
You can extend this to any countries you want to avoid hopping to.

searx search (B3RN3D Tor country Codes) For a complete Country code list.
I personally exclude all 14-eyes countries plus Isreal.

Even though traffic shaping means your traffic will likely pass through and get logged in a 14-eyes country even with these specifications, Its better in my eyes to avoid residing in them as much as possible, hence, ExcludeNodes.

Have fun.

Users who've Installed Tor on the Windows platform, can find the torcc file In the following directory:
Code:
Users\username\Desktop\Tor Browser\Browser\TorBrowser\Data\Tor

I've applied this a while back, and It certainly should be Included as part of your overall anonymity.
Appreciate the contribution.
