Do you tend to have better luck when returning amazon items if it's 1st party seller, or fulfilled by amazon. Not straight from 3rd party sellers themselves.

Have refunded multiple times from 3rd party. No issues so far.

In my experience, no difference.

Anyone can be SEd, Irrespective who the seller Is and where It originates.

I've always done fulfilled by amazon, but you can apparently do them all but others are riskier.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Probably going to just do a few item swaps on used/fulfilled by Amazon.

Fulfilled by Amazon is easier imo.

SEing 3rd party sellers can screw you over from personal experience. You're not dealing with Amazon but rather a person. A seller turned up to my address with 6 of his boys and started asking questions. Thought I was screwed but it was ok in the end. Note, it can be a hassle.

It's unfortunate (for you) the seller was actually In close proximity.

Better off If It's FBA (Fulfilled By Amazon), whereby Amazon ships the Item on the seller's behalf.

Oh yeah, I would never want to touch straight from 3rd party. I did one thing from amazon and another on FBA. Got refund from amazon instantly, waiting on that FBA to get delivered back to warehouse however. I'm pretty confident though.

Surely if that's true then the seller has broken some kind of data protection law?
